Seen a tumbler suspend himself to allow 32 people go under and through the dance set including the "Whitby Worm"? And there is a unique uni-cycle tumble too at Thrales' novelty final dance of the 2007 Whitby Folk Festival final ceilidh on the Friday night.

  • Thats ace! Someone told me this was on here at this years festival. I saw myself go under at the end of the worm there trying to guide the children through since they couldn't see a thing!

In case anyone was wondering about the worm- it was used in the Children in Performance workshops production that year and is a sea serpent called the Stoor Worm. It was used again this year (minus the tongue) as a river this year and is now hibernating at the back of my wardrobe until next year!
