  • few people stand up against calvinisim, and its about time God's character was defended. I have nothing but repect for this man. I will have to buy his book!

  • Thank you for making this video. Puts it all together nicely what I already found out on my own.

  • Thank you Dave Hunt! For far too long Calvinism theology has been used as an excuse to not witness to people with urgency. Instead, this theology would have us think, "oh well, if they're destined to get saved, they will." And just as this is used as a tool by Satan to keep us from witnessing, he has another tool that removes our joy and leaves us ineffective - that is the idea that we can lose our salvation.

  • Thanks, but I still have the first edition, complete with all the errors, he removed and changed in the next 2 editions. I would like to go on record that his first book helped me to become a calvinist.

  • The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing... 1 Cor 1:18. But we preach Christ crucified...1 Cor 1:23. For Christ suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust..1 Peter 3:18 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God..Rom 6:10 I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives within me.. Gal 2:20. Christ died once for sin. God doesn't punish sin twice. Fear God, turn to Jesus

  • Dave, the goal of Calvinists is to disciple the Church through teaching truth. How can you ask people to be Bereans after minimizing those who study passages you don't agree with and those who have taken the time to study the Greek and Hebrew language? Then tell others to draw their own conclusions? What teaching is this? Do we EVER DRAW OUR OWN CONCLUSIONS?

  • D.A.V.E. H.U.N.T. = "Dissertation Avoids Valuable Exchange. He Undermines New Testament."

Yes, my apolagetic hero, Dave Hunt, has done a disservice to his cause by skipping portions of scripture to avoid the truth that God's choice (election) is completely outside the will of humans. I read and listened to the words of Jesus on tapes and I saw the sovereignty of God in salvation before I even studied Calvin's/Luther's words.

  • By the way, this entire presentation is also available DVD at Dave Hunt's site, The Berean Call.

I also recommend his book titled "What Love Is This?" The third edition of it is now available. In spite of those who have read that book without really LISTINING, Dave Hunt has recieved letters from some people who have been delivered from Calvinism after reading that book.

  • Straw man fallacy. "to prove that God doesn't love everybody"!? The main focus for a Christian that understands the 5 points of calvinism is to give God ALL of the glory for everything and that includes our own salvation. By our own will we would not chose Christ (total dep)so if God left salvation to a race spiritually dead sinners who will not chose Him then we would lose all hope for salvation. God bless

  • Thank you so much for posting all of it.

He's the staple of a few.

A half decent tailor could fix Dave's sleeves on his jacket..
