Beginning to wonder if anyone here knows what they speak of! "chine walking" is a side to side motion ,from waves usually. This boat is "porpoising" that is from too high trim for too little power. And NO, NOT ALL TUNNELS PORPOISE AT THOSE SPEEDS! You need to trim down a good bit! If you think it's supposed to do that then I wonder about every tunnel driver in your area!? Nice "bouncing" boat though. Lol

That Skater is set-up wrong...It shouldn't porpoise at all.....the Hydrostream on the otherhand is an accident waiting to happen. Ever-since OB motors got mega-HP Joe six-pack is hanging them off their pride & joy & chine walking them 24/7...until they crash em. The first little ripple on the water will blow over that Hydrostream...the Skater on the other hand won't even notice it. The Skater captain will have to pick up the Hydrostream pieces.

ALL CATS PORPOSE
As far as the hydrosteam Venom it is the most forgiving modified padded V out there, the boat for those who actually drive, is the easiest to do that. As far as a blow over this is a tunnel hull before you print know what you are talking about.

All cats porpose at speedes between 35 to 60 unless you install a tab thats just a fact of life. They (skater) are still the best!

I grew up on GWL but no it is lake walenpaupak Pa. Those speeds in GWL today!! Never

I grew up in GWL also. Loved it. I sold the Venom. Great boat and out of the hole it is 2nd to none. Lake W is a hour further but alot bigger and you can run it. Well in the morning anyway.
