  • @anthrax21999 Well Loudon is set for a gig in Ireland, Dublin's Olympia Theatre on May 28th 2011, with Lucy Wainwright as Support.. Thought you'd like to know kiddo. :-)

  • Another great song... Will i ever see him in Ireland?

  • I think it is cute. Reminds me a little of Roy Zimmerman. I enjoyed it.

  • I was there for this show, great show- and I love both this song and 'times is hard', as well as the other new 'songs for the new depression; he's been doing... hope they all get released sooner or later!

  • Not a great fan of this song - it is very worthy and packed with clever lyrics, reminding me constantly of a Don McLean song called 'Prime Time' (from 1977) which was attacking the commercialism of modern America.

Loudon is at his best when he is writing about himself, his family and related issues I think, rather than social and economic issues. Another recent song this year (Times is Hard) also left me not very excited. :-)
