Isn't it illegal? Not that I agree with it's legal status. Apparently Henry Ford grew it on his estate to make methanol as a fuel.

Ya that was kinda the point why should it be illegal when ya can use it for so much? Hemp must be mated w/ to get the bud and if it was grown such as we grow corn, it would not be worth smoking. Pot grows wild all across this country, so why is it illegal?
If it is bad it is good and if it is good then it is Bad, makes it confusing to live!

My house runs on renewable energy. Episode I was about green electricity:

youtube. com/ watch?v=odOMiV9Yz1Y

We had electric vehicles already from GM and Toyota. They killed them though (with the help of Exxon and the Federal Government).

I'll probably discuss electric cars in the next episode. I was planning on discussing solar power, but I'll take this as a request!

Well Solar is great and all.

But I figure, as things are right now, half the grid is powered by coal.

And assuming we used the exact grid we have right now, we could power 84% of the US car fleet if it were electric with offhours electricity.

Also when the batteries wear down 1/5th they aren't any good for transportation.
But they still got 4/5th's battery life for grid to grid electricity storage.

But speaking of solar, here's a comparison of sugarcane (i.e. The most energy effecient biofuel source we got, double the theoretical value of cellulosic)

Sugar cane is 100x worse than solar panels.
greyfalcon. net/ sugarsolar

_

And thats just 22% effeciency.
Solar thermal troughs can get as high as 50% efficiency.

Can also roll out 6-10% effeciency panels like they were newspaper.
