British short-hairs have a different muzzle structure, and slightly different body type.
It's not a big deal, but it's noticeable.

There are a lot of differences between the two breeds. American shorthairs, for one, tend to be leaner than British shorthairs.

Mine could open the door by herself to oh i miss her so much! so terribly I cant get over it. she passed away about the time michael jackson died. I have a lock of hair from her and I have videos and pictures bye bye my little angel I will always love you Rest In Peace I love you My young kitten. :''(

No there are definite physical differences. Just because they are both cats doesn't mean they are the same. Also calling someone stupid for recognizing such differences is pretty mean. :(
