Co-written by the man who now makes soft-synths like Predator, RG, and Albino, Rob Papen. I have always loved this melody and the sounds they used, so un-ashamedly pretty and sweet. This was a number one hit in the Netherlands. Written by R. Papen / R. Van Es / P. Kommers, (C) 1981 CNR.

Ik weet nog goed , dit was me allereerste singeltje wat ik kocht er stond een hele grote boze mevrouw achter de toonbank , en 17 jaar dat ik was heel beleefd , mag ik altublieft Aurora van Nova van u :) kort daarop kwam de LP Terranova uit , en die was zo duur voor mij dat ik m voor me verjaardag vroeg , en ik heb nu zowat alles wat Nova / Peru ooit uitgebracht hebben , inclusief singels en de CD Terranova (Quo Vadis is volgens mij nooit uitgekomen op CD) Correct me if I'm wrong

Ha ha, leuk. Ik heb soortgelijke herinneringen. moest bijna altijd alles bestellen bij de platenwinkel in Lelystad omdat ze het niet hadden (Erasure? Hoe schrijf je dat?). Heb inderdaad ook de cd Terranova. Dit soort muziek wordt amper nog gemaakt. Alhoewel: check mijn instrumentale versie van Intoxicated, op de dubbel-cd Stereo van Peter Wilson (op i-Tunes staat de gezongen albumversie) :)

Wat ben ik blij dat ik deze tijd heb meegemaakt. Heerlijke muziek, Echte platenzaken waar je uren door kon brengen voor de muur met de singeltjes. en maar luisteren en niet kunnen kiezen welke je moest KOPEN. En na de koop zo trots als een pauw naar huis om m te draaien. Heerlijk, kon ik maar terug naar deze tijd, en kopen dat de tijd van nu nooit zou komen.

Tja hoe herkenbaar. Alhoewel ze bij Roeks in Heerlen (bestaan ze nog) wat beter gesorteerd waren maakte de grote balie indruk. Of ik de plaat in de winkel nog ff horen wilde? Eh... nee gaat zo wel mee. Tja zo ging dat in die tijd... haha. Trouwens Ad, heb je de Consul nog?
