Learn how to spell. Stop buying imports. The engine in this car is more powerful than yours. That's all I have to say.

It's a POS, and that's why GM stock price is in the toilet, and why GM has a net worth of less than zero according to Yahoo.
GM crushed the EV1, jailed would-be cash buyers, dispersed the GM fan club, and crushed or gutted all the EV1. Now GM is squealing about "going green", but it's all a lie.
GM sold the batteries needed for all electric cars to Chevron, which then sued Toyota, which stopped making the oil-free RAV4-EV.

What is it with all the freaking tree huggers on here?
-
Except it leaks and has serious electrical issues. Other than that, it's great.

صيانة الجميح تجيب العيد
دخلت سيارتي عندهم ثلاث مرات بسبب صوت في المحرك

Why do you think we need plastics? Plastic is clogging the Ocean, as Algalita Foundation has demonstrated in the North Pacific Gyre. Plastic raw stock spilled into the Ocean is a disaster.
-
You CAN avoid oil in your daily commute: save oil, or leave it in the ground. Oil drilling is a dirty, expensive business, one we should ABANDON.
Plastics should be eliminated as much as possible; air travel rare, not commonplace. Electric trains are for long-distance transportation.
Getting rid of oil in your daily life is a programme, not a reality at this time.
But it's surely possible to eliminate oil from your daily commute, using rooftop solar panels and plug-in cars.
-
You are right. Serial hybrids will remove all demand for plastic. Why didn't I think of that?
So even if this genius serial hybrid plan works, what is it powered off of? Has to be oil or natural gas. Both have to be drilled for. BTW, trains are ultimately diesel powered. Oh yeah, you just said if we get a solar panel we don't need oil to do the daily grind. I see the light now (that great solar powered light).
Lastly, proof your comments before you post please.

Yes, there is.
We can show how avoiding buying oil paid for our rooftop solar system.
Of course, diesel and gas is burned, and oil is useful for many things; why burn it to show you can do a wheelie??
It can't plug in, so it's a dumb, worthless POS.

Hey, I hear you. And I'm with you on the electric thing... but I'll say this: when an SUV like this gets BETTER gas mileage than say, an Audi TT or a BMW 3 series... you gotta wonder why a GM SUV can pull that off and a smaller, more nimble foreign import can't. Baby steps at times, but none the less steps... thanks for commenting!

Do you work for GM?
KennyboyGM 4 years ago
No. But I'm an endorser for them via my company, and I was pissed off when I got to my parent's house to find that my brothers were prepared with some left wing nut uber idiot propaganda saying that I was 'on the take' for endorsing their vehichles. This car was amazing. And it's the exclamation point for them that we - as radio people - get to drive these cars for a little while so that we might be able to convey the experience to our listeners.
