@rtwerd Most clippers actually won't do much damage to the horse's skin; the clipper blades are too small to create a cut, but I never allow my horse to misbehave like that. Plus if they move around you'll probably get an uneven clip!

Be careful with the clippers try to make your horse stop moving or you'll cut his nose

@equestrianismygame it depends on the show... but i would ask my instrustor if i was you because it can cause you points (: boots are expensive but you can find them cheaper somewhere (:
