Growing your hair out isn't simply from not cutting it! If you want long hair that is HEALTHY you have to get it trimmed regularly. If you get severe split ends, your hair is damaged from over-styling with heat, or your hair starts to break off or get weak you have to cut that which can sometimes be a few inches of hair!
