QF49 Take Off 26DEC12 Boeing 737-800 Part Three Short Version Sydney Auckland

So you know when you land and you turn your mobile phone on... you get a text from Qantas saying that your flight is further delayed, it was a good 2.15 hours late.

New aircraft, seemed packed. Seat 15F. My batter ran out and I forgot to get the spare one out of my bag but not much else to see once we had taken off.

@qantaspilot95 That's a shame. I just bought a new one while away, it's amazing how over the months the life of the battery just gets shorter and shorter.

@mikeycbd @AusAviation149 All NZ Qantas planes are JetConnect and so are staff as far as I know. It's under the QANTAS name but they have outsourced it. It is a hot topic among QANTAS staff I gather. @AusAviation149 Well it's cheaper to live in NZ so maybe salaries are different. Also does not look like Qantas are taking over the NZ market perhaps with a different name?

@TheFsJunkie I actually said hello to Alan Joyce, he's a difficult job to do. I am flying Emirates in March as I want to try them out and they fly direct to Manchester and Qantas do not. Happy New Year to you also.

I flew from the domestic terminal at Melbourne which was really good because I only had to be there 45 mins before :-)

@lethalCT4E haha, yeah won't make that mistake again but then it probably would have been too dark but I did like the lighting. Was surprised how it came out. I also bought a new battery in NZ so I now have 3 for my trip in March.
