I'm guessing that the First Class seats we're not sold as First Class at all, but rather Business Class for the Elite Members for Emirates.

Emirates does at least provide nice service, despite the sometimes outdated interiors of their older aircraft. However for the 77L, I would of expected more of a staggered seating and flat beds for Business Class (like Etihad), since the 2-3-2 layout along with lie-flat seats can get uncomfortable for ultra-long flights.
