Someone said this was filmed in Calgary/Bowness in Canada. Is that true?

@iampoopman Yes I think the school scenes were filmed at bowness Highschool, and some film scenes in Cochrane as well as Calgary, Alberta

My favorite movie when I was a young was The Dirt Bike Kid, and I'm pretty sure there was a trailer for Rad on that VHS that I rented a lot. That's how I found out about Rad which I also loved as a kid.

This trailer is on The Dirt Bike Kid VHS. I don't own an actual copy of this movie. My parents taped it off tv for my bro. He owns an an actual copy of this movie, still to this day I think. I found the taped one by accident, and watched it and, instantly fell in love. Bought a BMX bike because of this movie.

I still have this on VHS. I usually pull it out every few months and watch. Great to see such a positive response to this movie I always thought nobody knew about.

To those suggesting a remake, I heard a Bill Allen radio interview just a few minutes ago (from earlier this year) where Allen said the production company is still trying to acquire all the rights to release it intact, and that when/if it does get released, a sequel could be starting around that time.

Someone gotta re-do this, but cross it with "Bring It On" and maybe "Transformers"... just CGI the crap outta it and have it be nothing but explosions and fantastic asses... oh, and BMX....
