Chapter 151: Sweet Sixteen

"Birthday twins! Get your butts up," Joe yelled.

Once again, he and Kevin were jumping up and down on my bed. Nick and I groaned, then rolled onto our stomachs simultaneously. We each took one of my extra pillows and pulled them over our heads. We were in no mood to get up, and our brothers could deal with it.

"We could always give you your birthday spanking..." Kevin said, then a smack was landed on my bottom.

"Joey!" I whined, at the same time Nick pouted, "Kevy!"

"Yeesss?" They asked.

"Go away," we said together.

"I don't think so," Joe said.

Someone grabbed my ankles. I got a good hold on my headboard as Joe began to try and pull me out of the bed. It didn't work for him with me or Kev with Nick. Finally they gave up and crawled onto the bed with us.

"Do you not want your present?" Kevin asked. Joe started playing with my hair.

"What is it?" We asked, not uncovering our faces from underneath our pillows.

"Nu-uh, you gotta get up," Kevin said.

"I'm sleepy!" We whined.

"At least sit up and use us as a backboard," Joe said.

Nick and I did. I sat up slowly, then leaned into Joey's side. Nick did the same to Kevin.

"Ready?" Kevin asked. We nodded, and he whistled.

We were a little confused, but that changed when two puppies came running into the room and hopped up onto my computer chair, then onto my bed. Nick and I looked at each other with wide eyes, then at our brothers.

"Their yours," Kevin explained.

"Would it be ironic if I were to tell you they are twins?" Joe said.

"Which is older?" Nick asked as the boy jumped onto his lap. The girl curled up into a ball on mine. I began to stroke its hair.

"This is the weird part...The boy, by five minutes and forty five seconds," Kevin said.

"Freaky, but awesome!" Nick and I exclaimed together. "Name?"

"I like Elvis," Nick said.

"I like Ella," I replied.

"Elvis and Ella...very twin-y," Joe said.

"Twin-y, really Joe?" Kevin asked.

We started laughing at his face. Elvis and Ella crawled off or laps, only to curl up in my sheets and fall asleep.

"Shower," Joe said. He pulled me up and gave me a smack on my bottom to get me moving. Kevin did the same to Nick.

"Where are we going?" We asked.

"Somewhere for us to know and you to find out," Joe said.

"Now get!" Kevin said, landing another swat to Nick's bottom.

"That's three off for later!" Nick said, leaving the room.

"Yeah right. He's still getting 16 plus one," Kevin said.

I could practically hear Nick's pout.
