"War President" John McCain Would Implement MANDATORY MILITARY SERVICE!

MSNBC, Countdown with Keith Olbermann August 20, 2008.

Discussion of whether or not John McCain would re-instate the draft if elected. When asked this unexpected question at one of his tightly controlled and heavily scripted "town meetings", McCain became uncomfortable and quickly dodged and weaved into a different topic.

It's very important that everyone, everywhere ask McCain whether he would re-instate the draft.

Think about it, a kid who is 14 today may be drafted into one of McCain's wars during his first term!

Selective Service has been registering young men for over 20 years and at any moment the president can go to Congress and ask them to reauthorize conscription for a male combat draft for ages 18-25. All that is needed is a short, "trigger" resolution and the draft for men 18 to 25 is back.

This is typical liberal slander. Rep. Charles Rangel, D-NY has already introduced a bill to reinstate the draft. The bill is HR 4752, The Universal National Service Act of 2006. Funny how they failed to mention this. This bill has the support of several democratic congressmen.

To me, Gravel and Kucinich made the most sense in the democrat primary. Yet somehow, hillary and Obama dominate.

You can hear Obama arguing with Kucinich in the democratic primaries. Obama said "I think IRAN poses a threat". Kucinish "What PRoof?"

Sadly, no draft for now. I wish there is draft that would take away their husbands going to the war because I have girlfriend who have husband, I thought she was not having a boyfriend-- but she have husband and children.

I wish there was draft for Iraq/Afghanistan so it would be different world for me.

I definitely think there should be mandatory military service. Maybe some of you people will actually learn to love and respect your country after you spent a couple years in the military. Everyone will bitch and moan about whatever president is in office no matter what they are doing. If obama gets in office all the people who got him in there will turn on him a couple months later like they always do.
