'9/9/09, SEGA reveals the Dreamcast 2', or does it?

All the info in this video was found on an website published on 9/9/09 (which doesn't exist anymore). But it was fake.

it would be fucking awesome if sega came out today and brang out a new console that would totally kill the ps3 xbox360 and wii , sega have sat back long enough and watch those 3 idiots company compete with each other , sega could learn from their mistakes and LISTEN to what the people really want in a console and make it for us , like a home virtual reality console, its almost end of 2010 and still nothing exciting its just the same old boring shit

If Sega does come out with a new system i sure hope they call it "Dreamcast 2" or idc as long as the name "Dreamcast" is in the title because that system is a legend and its name deserves to be carried on...that is if Sega decides to come out with a new system... which at this point doesn't seem likely.

SEGA should not bother. If they do they will certainly go under. Consoles dont do well because of great games. They do well because of hype and marketing. SEGA pissed off a lot of games companies who would hate to compete with them on their own console so they will most likely boycott the new Dreamcast on launch.

Sega never announced anything. Someone from Sega did say that there were no plans for a Dreamcast 2 at the moment, and that was in 2010 (I believe). If they did, then I would expect something huge on their part.
