After the election, an interesting take with an interview before the election.
Let's HOPE he CHANGES and this doesn't come true.

  • Another black conservative ignored by the liberal media.

  • When I read these comment sections, sometimes I think I'm the only person who doesn't hate Barack Obama, but just recognizes him as a highly intelligent, charismatic, well-meaning man who doesn't understand the first-thing about how a country or economy works. He's not evil, he genuinely thought he would make things better. He just didn't have the experience or information needed to know better.

I don't believe that you have to hate a President to disagree with him.

    NICE!

Just watch your back dude! ; P

  • @geogervas Yep I love telling people who know nothing about economics about the austrian legends :) Oh and btw I found a couple of shirts on zazzle and on one they list all the old school austrian economists and on the other they list all the new ones! I can't wait to buy them so I can wear them to my school, which is filled with liberal teachers XD

  • @yesnonotexactly25

We're out here chief, we just have to RAISE our voices! : D

I try to educate my friends and family, if they will listen...lol.

I write about it, etc. We just have to keep spreading the word!

  • @geogervas Dude!!! I LOVE those videos, both the original rap anthem and the sequel :) those videos are actually the only reason i know about classical liberalism and austrian economics at all. not that i'd never heard about hayek, but he was the only one and with the liberal school systems nowadays we only went over him for 5 minutes and keynes for the rest of the hour XP but it's nice to know there are others out there who know what i'm talking about :D <3

  • @EGarrett01 did u hate W? most people dont "hate" obummer, but i do know for a fact that George W Bush is a genius compared to obama. Obama cant seem to "learn" that if it dont work you dont do it harder and expect it to work then...the definition of insanity and or stupidity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. I for one listened to what he said before he was elected. there was NOTHING that was well meaning in ANY of his speeches.

  • @yesnonotexactly25

Oh man, I hear your 'pain' dude!

    I mention Von Mises and it's like "W H A T?"

    Von who? Ugh.

BTW- I love the 'skits' at EconStories

Hayek vs Keynes. Check it out.

  • @geogervas Amen to that! Whenever someone asks me what my political views are and I tell them 'Classical Liberal', they don't even know what it means. I proceed to tel them that it's similar to libertarianism and that I agree with Hayek, Mises, and Freedman. Then they tell me they don't know who they are either, at which point I go into a corner and weep for the ignorance of the average citizen T-T

  • @lessiv

The term "liberal" in what sense. Because liberal in the Libertarian sense is NOT what the 'progressive liberal' (Read: socialist/communist ideology) is today. Liberal is mis-used by nearly everyone.

  • @EGarrett01 The Germans first thought all of those things about Hitler too.

  • He doesnt claim to be a conservative, he claims himself to be libertarian.
