  • Epoustoustouflant ! Très rapide. Quelle virtuosité !

  • The best version on YouTube.

  • Very wonderful playing Eduardo! You are featured the week of August 9th 2010 in my site. I am presently learning this piece and your playing is inspiring me.

  • Beautiful, convincing etc.

  • Mozart did NOT like the flute. Or the harp. He composed them because of the system of patronage common at that time. Two of his wealthy students were a mother and daughter who played the flute and harp, and he wrote the concerto to "keep their business". But it is well known that Mozart did not like the flute.

  • I have to disagree with you on multiple levels. I feel that Mozart's flute concerto is one of the greatest pieces of music ever and I don't know if he liked the bassoon. At the time bassoon was a humored instrument. People thought it was funny as many do today. Also, Mozart despised the clarinet yet his clarinet concerto is compared and considered to be the best piece of written music in existence. But its all subjective to personal view.

  • Are you kidding me? Mozart liked the flute! There are more surviving flute concertos than bassoon concertos that he wrote.

  • He liked bassoon. He however didn't like Flute, oboe, french horn, clarinet, and a couple others becuase there weren't any good players around during his time.
