  • best laugh ever @ 3:02

  • Longest not including spin-offs. Doctor Who and Stargate have each lasted more than twice of all Stargate shows together. Spin-offs are still in the same universe, still part of the same franchise.

  • @pirateburke86 Technically the longest running sci-fi show is still Doctor Who as it first aired in 1963, that record has not been beaten and will not be beaten any time soon. Stargate SG-1 was the longest consecutive running north american show, Smallville only recently passed that by 3 episodes.

  • not the longest running scifi show ever anymore

  • ogm that was freakin' hilarious XD

  • OMG HE HAS MY OLD PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!! :O :D

  • @KryssLaBryn Your completely right!

  • i would love to be with amanda tapping

  • The more I see Christopher Judge out of character, the more he reminds me of my dance instructor. So funny! "SHANKS! SHANKS!"

  • @IRONMAIDENFAN2006 ST:TOS: 3 years

    ST:TAS: 2 years

    ST:TNG: 7 years

    ST:DS9: 7 years

    ST:Voy: 7 years

    ST: Ent: 4 years

    SG1: 10 years

If you're going to look at the spread between when the first episode of a franchise aired to its latest, rather than how long an individual series within that ffranchise lasted, then I'm afraid you're going to lose to Dr. Who anyways: 26 seasons (& counting) over 47 years (& counting). It's the one actually listed in the Guiness Book of Records.

    Just saying. ;-)
