  • the first time i showed up at this level i got out of the ship and as soon as the music started playing i was on goldwood. It took me forever too get the nerve too go back too it. It just reminds me too much of Alien. All the vents all melted and destroyed. Then that gaping hole. It makes me feel like something is in that ship. Watching... waiting.... its that feeling you get when you just walk into some awkward "disaster" on a ship. With bodies missing but destruction everywhere. dread.fear.

  • That lvl was such a mystery. I mean it had many tunnels but why was the station damaged, how long has it been floating in space, and who was originally stationed there?

  • This track matches its stage perfectly. Mainly because the stage is so...

Broken... I love how the music just gave me that "Don't look behind you..." sort of feeling.

  • definitely dusting off the ol n64 tonight :)

  • @TePrudiiMandalor ikr, I was running around thinking there was an end, trying to grow some balls to explore, and the further I went, the more scared I got, so I was basically running around in terror trying to find a way out. In the end, I learned that it was just a dead end with nothing but ants and tribals.. good news is, I found everything I needed there in that terror filled time I went there, and I didn't have to go back :D

  • @godofmajora I thought that too, every sound startled me there, whether it was floyd, or an ant growl. I thought there was something just goign to come out and grab me or something... just terrifying, the music really does add a creepy and mysterious ambiance feeling. The slow and creepish music, the choir making things seem like something big is gonna happen. The Sharp pings that get rlly shrill to spook you, and THAT'S when I'd hop right on back my ship outta there lol.

  • For what i see, behind that door should've an elevator...

  • @BbDle88 it's possible, i could imagine that. only way we'd find out if there was a sequel, or a remake that actually had what they planned there... but we'll never know, because that'll never happen.

  • @NeoLightElectro Hard to say, but I bet they planned on some sort of freaky hidden boss or something....

  • @Nitrous0x huh, i wonder what the rest of the level was meant to be?

  • last floor on the bottom of the space station where the final door is just a closet. That door was meant to go even deeper into the Space Station.

  • Ah the memories I have from playing on this level when I was like 10. Surprisingly, the music to this level didn't scare me but actually kept me on my toes especially when floyd sensors would keep going off even though there was no enemy around. I think that part was programmed in by RARE to add to the suspense of the level even more. Brilliant move by them.

Also fun fact: Rare planned on making this level a lot longer but ran out of room on the cartridge. The example of this is found on the
