Executable UML models allow for new ways of integrating security concepts into heterogeneous application environments. The resulting model driven security approach is discussed in theory and practice.

Biography of Speaker:
Chris Henn has 20 years experience in defining IT products and solutions and successfully bringing them to market. Chris has broad experience in product marketing and business development using innovative technology and products that have contributed to changing core business processes and workflows in industries such as chemical & pharmaceutical, biomedical, oil & gas, banking, automotive, aerospace and telecommunications. Prior to joining E2E Chris held senior management positions at SGI, Obtree, IXOS and Esmertec. As co-founder of Obtree, Chris launched the innovative Enterprise Content Management company that was recognized by Financial Times as one of the fastest growing software IT ventures in Europe during 2000. Chris has co-authored several patent applications in visualization, collaboration and component software. At SGI, Chris received the honorary title of Principal Systems Engineer in recognition of his unique technical leadership. In 1998, one of Chris innovations won Computer Graphics Worlds prestigious Innovative Product of the Year award. Chris Henn holds a masters degree in molecular biology from the University of Basel, Switzerland.
