Do you understand english, ShadowSoldior? The studio dropped the series! They aren't lazy, they just didn't have the money or resources to make the movie. Plus, I'm sorry that they didn't live up to your standards, but movies are hard to make. Stop being such a jerk about it. "lazy bastards lol" That sounds so childish and uninformed that it is insane someone would actually write anything like that... Grow up, ShadowSoldior!

The first one was a 2004 release, so actually, it is only four years. Plus, if it takes a movie two years from the start of the scripting to release, and it is in limbo for a while because of studio trouble, that actually isn't too bad. It's not like they can just turn these types of films out every couple months...

From what I have heard, the studios that made the first movie (Revolution, etc.) had financial problems and decided to drop the series, as it was a bit oddball, and they weren't sure if it would be profitable in the long run. So, it took a while but Universal finally picked it up. That's why the movie took so long... no moolah without a studio. Or at least thats what I've read, so I could be wrong.
