@iknownothing34 Yes, I understand you. Many people hate her acting abilities. And year, she isn't great actress but she is far not the worst like everyone tries to admit and I respect your opinion

@irina1296 Yeah. Well, yeah it did sound new, but her voice just sounded kind of metallic, and I myself think that she overdid the song. I personally think that Madonna isn't a very good actor, so it's just my opinion.

@iknownothing34 Well, I think the song sounded new compared to previous themes. By the way, I adore theme songs from Gladys Knight, Lulu, Sheena Easton. Sorry, I never liked Carly Simon's one.
About acting - Madonna had the only one scene plus this scene didn't need any special acting, emotions or feelings so I guess we can't say she was wooden

@irina1296 Oh, the music? I thought you meant her acting! I felt the song a little out of place, rather brutal and synthetic ( maybe that was the intention though?). I felt it lacked the epic sweep of orchestration in a bond single. Felt at home in a tech noir discotheque compared to Lulu's funky rock Golden Gun (matching the film's feel), Carly Simon, Sheena Easton or Gladys Knight's eforts, but then again I'm probably a romantic in that sense :-)
