  • @ORLY21 It is best to think of these as a more versatile sunglass lens only. You can wear them sunrise to sunset for driving, outdoor activities, etc., and they get light enough indoors that it isn't the end of the world if you forget to take them off to go in to the store. However, they are not a full time lens at all,so you will still need a primary lens with traditional Transition lenses for daily wear. Also,Drivewear was made with Transitions' technology and by Younger optics.I've worn for 2+yrs.

  • @dd5798 that is correct the do not go clear but they are great for diving in wet weather, they cut through the spray and red lights (traffic and brake lights etc) stand out like night and day

  • @ORLY21

They're alright for daily OUTDOOR wear but really never return to "normal clear" as with normal transitions they're always slightly greenish copper at lightest. Also, you can't wear them at night.

They're also a little faster than transitions

  • Would these lenses be suitable for daily wear? How do they compare performance-wise with Transitions lenses?
