Craig Bramscher unveils the Empulse, their new supersport model. It has three different battery options, the highest one being the 10.0. The 10.0 has an average range of 100 miles, and a top speed over 100mph. I can't wait to buy one! Pre-order one to be one of the first on the block. I did. In California, it's cheaper than an open class sportbike like my Yamaha R1!

  • when does bike come out dosen't say anything on their website about when it will be avaliable, you can only pre-order.

  • @abeloasis Unfortunately, it's been delayed. They haven't made a firm release date yet, as it's still under development.

  • eh, eh, eh....

now add to this a photovoltaic panel array system to charge it & you'll be riding for peanuts !

sure one has to have the cash to start with but , just imagine : no queuing at the gas station ? irrelevant gas prices ? me likey......

then as a GSXR1000 owner myself, at least around town NO big bike would even come close to it in real world traffic conditions given the ''instant full torque'' characteristics of electric motors - me VERY likey....eh, eh, eh.....

  • totally! I want an Empulse for around town so bad it hurts. Every time I pump more gas into my 2-wheeled Lambo (09 R1) that gets an appalling avg. 20mpg!

  • I have only one question. Is it a two seater like the native S?

  • @S0u11ess @S0u11ess It doesn't look like it. Most e-bikes are 1 seaters because the batteries' range is drastically impacted by weight. So having an extra 100-200 lbs on back is fine coming home from the local disco, but not for a day in the canyons.

  • @GSX1340R Sure, the 'Busa is a great bike for touring and on the dragstrip. And my friend Tom can actually push his around Malibu quite respectably.

But I'm tired of riding my R1 around town in 1st gear, sucking up 20 mpg every day. The Empulse should be just as fun as my R1 in the twisties and off the line. Iin fact, I'll bet I can launch this bad boy quicker than you can launch your 'Busa, even though you're bound to lose me by the end of the 1/4 mi. :-) Try one when they come out.

  • you are looking at the future of motorcycles.......accept it.

  • Does anyone know if they'll have a fully fared production version? I feel like it would increase aerodynamics, range, and speed. Their racing version is fully faired but for some reason the production version doesn't appear to be.

  • What an amazing product, i´m pre-ordering one asap!!! Got to have it, no more buying gas!!!!! Shit!!!!

  • @yesIdoLikeDogs becaseu the corporations work on what is profitable, no oil no money for them, i mean tehnology is really advanced that they can make this bike and, if big corporations worked on them they could sell it even cheaper

  • @gorodph maybe they u li ion tehnology, other use nica
