@CubanCheGuevara: Of course, because Lennon was a Beatle who was murdered in cold blood. That makes for good TV. No other reason. Oh and karma leading John to a violent death as repayment for all his years of abusing women. That's how a real man behaves, punching out chicks. So much for the media creation that he was some kind of genius pacifist.....

@FrlghtWolf; No one posts this stuff on Lennon's solo videos because Lennon essentially had no solo career. Let's count up ll the hits from John's solo career, OK? Oh yeah, Elton John did help John turn some of his mediocre crap into a hit or two...Whatever Gets You through the NIght, pure Elton..but John of course takes the credit. But his true solo stuff? Absolute garbage, Even RIngo laughs at John's solo career. Hilarious.

@FrlghtWolf: WoW, talk about drinking the kool-aid. Are you still buying into the media created house husband story? LOL! You must the only left on the planet that believes that shit. John was wired out of his mind on coke when he was shot and likely wasn't worried because his drug use and self imposed isolation had sufficiently warped his thinking. He also had Harrison do most of the guitar parts on his solo albums, although based on his solo career sales, nobody was listening.

@shauncytheboom - Separate yourself from the
sentimental, nostalgic notions of the Beatles...and
you're left with somewhat cold and indifferent facts.
The Beatles were NOT a GUITAR BAND, thus...the
lead guitarist wasn't that important. The Beatles two
strong lead vocalists was comprised of John's resonant
baritone voice complimented by Paul's smooth highs,
thus, you didn't need George's voice (which was weak
and warbly). In the end, George was always replaceable.

the best beatles post solo album is "All things must pass by Harrison in my opinion- a deep swirling record that sounds like Harrisons soul put to music!

Happy birthday George =) we miss you

George was the most spiritual and obviously the most understated. His creative output didn't match John or Paul during the Beatles run, but he lead an undeniably enchanted spiritual, creative and productive life as an artist and musician. It is such a ridiculous thing to say that anybody could have been him. Its ridiculous to say anybody could be you or me. That is such a blanket statement and totally undermines the human soul.
Lets all thank the guy from the production of the show that asked George to sing All Things Must Pass at 0:13
