FINALLY
-
If OUR representatives aren't accountable for their actions, then we're in more trouble than many can imagine; because if corrupt and criminal representatives know they won't be held accountable by the citizens of the U.S.. They won't stop. To their way of thinking, why should they? - It is up to we the people to demand ACCOUNTABILITY from our elected officials. - There's no one else.

btw, defining your morality as a function of what you consider 7th century Muslims to be is foolish and irresponsible. - Have you no sense of morality of your own? Have you forgotten what it means to be an American? Have you forgotten what ideals centuries of American servicemen and woman have died to uphold? Values you so foolishly bad mouth today.
-
I never suggested the prosecutions for torture be limited to Bush and Cheney. Instead, I think all those responsible for the torture of prisoners should be held accountable. - On the other hand, it appears you have no problem with our elected officials breaking the law. Good luck with that.

im4wur2... why stop at Bush and Cheney? Surely there are fliers alive who firebombed Germany in WWII; lawyers who approved the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, as well as "atrocities" during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Obama has as much reverence for our Constitution as hugo chavez does.
You Bush haters are more pathetic than the 7th century muslim maggots who would kill you for merely being an American.
-
Perhaps not.
-
The Bush administration had no problem with prosecuting the hapless, working class, Abu Ghraib prison guards. But the investigation of CIA torture hits a little close to home for the Bush hypocrites.
-
Perhaps you can tell me how that is relevant to investigation/prosecutions for the authorizing of people to torture prisoners.

And for all you wimps out there who are concerned what the world would think of us if we keep a terrorist awake as we question him, grow a spine. Getting the info of where the bombs are is more important than impressing the faint of heart, weakminded people who fail to understand that evil actually exist. I dont give a damn what the French thinks of us if we blow smoke in the face of a killer.

"Getting the info of where the bombs are"
What the fuck are you talking about?
You've been watching too much TV.
Enough of your fantasy land garbage.
"weakminded people"
That would be you.
Why do you hate our justice system when it doesn't suit you? You are one of those convenient liberals who wants to change things when it suits you. Laws only count when they are in line with your partisan crap. Goddamn liberals want to stop on our laws.

This is one dumbass admin. Ok, I get it, you guys hate Bush. But this wimpy ass definition of 'torture' to investigate the people who had the important job of keeping us safe is just plain stupid. Now that we have revealed the methods used to get info, the next captured people are not going to talk because they know they will be protected by Eric Holder and Pres Obama.

No, you don't get it. The law doesn't get determined by who you love and hate. That's only for idiots. You have bought into some stupid partisan bullshit that clouds your brain.
For your info, I'm not a Democrat. I did not vote for Obama. I could care less about their party and Bush and his people broke the law, willfully, and they should not be above the law because you agree with their violations. You need to grow up.
