This was in a college that's why it wasn't so professional. My sister said students practice on each other all the time.

I went to donate plasma and after the nurse cleaned the area with the iodine swab, she had to go switch over a machine, and as soon as she got back to me, another machine went off. This happened about 2-3 more times so when she was finally ready for me she had to clean the area again.
Biolife is very good at following procedure as far as I can tell.

@XYtruck25 If I was the phlebotomist type, I would think there would be advantages working at a blood bank. Everyone is mostly healthy and there are no little squalling peds to deal with. And you don't have to work ridiculous hours.

yea its a first time for everything.. im proud of you girlie you did good!
I never check this thing... but to answer everybodys question at the beginning: YES, the site was cleaned. We took a long time with each draw and didnt want to film the everything - eventually we filmed only when the student accessed blood. And yes, I was holding the needle vey badly, now that i've been doing it - I look back at the video and say... WHAAAAT!! As for the non-professionalism - we were freaking out, at the time, no one had gotten a sucessful draw so we were all on pins and needles
