On July 11th, 2010, we lost our friend Nate "Oteka" Henn.

Nate dedicated his life to peace and education in Central Africa.

He worked without pay for a year and a half as a Roadie and an intern at Invisible Children, a non-profit organization raising awareness about the use of child soldiers in Joseph Kony's war and raising money to build schools and provide education to Northern Uganda's war-affected children.

Blessed are the peacemakers. We love you Nate.

  • For all who choose to comment, please consider your words carefully. There are people who are remembering Nathan Henn as they watch this for the 20th, 30th, or perhaps the 100th time. He was their friend, maybe even their son. You may watch this four minute video, write a remark and continue on, but remember that others may not be doing the same. Some must see what you write each time they revisit this corner of the internet to remember Nathan, so please consider them as you choose your words.

  • 'Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.'

Rest In Peace, Nate "Oteka" Henn.
