ACTS 18

After Paul's sermon on Mars Hill, he travels to Corinth. There, he finds much comfort in his discouragement. Through friends and the Spirit he is built back up and he teaches a bunch of the Corinthians about Jesus. PTL!

Then he and Aquila and Priscilla go to Ephesus, where the couple began the ministry there. Then while Paul was making the rounds encouraging all the brethryn everywhere, this dude named Apollos started teaching in Ephesus. He was from Alexandria, and was an awesome teacher. But Aquila and Priscilla get him on the straight and narrow.

And............... for more tense shifting, we are going through Acts, and we were going through Acts. Depending on the time in which you read this.

Hmm... I'm not sure if I should like this video or not.... I just did a reading of Acts 18 on my youtube channel.. perhaps I can Add this video to it.. but.. I hope you aren't at all making fun of scriptures.. but this really does make it clear in my mind. lol...

@SocialMisfit9 No, to quote Dave Guzik on the matter: It's because the Scriptures are truth that you can poke fun at them. Honestly, no one every pokes fun at a fictional story, because it doesn't matter. I poke fun at Acts because they are some CRAZY events that actually happened, and they're funny to me.

I get ya-

..but for US (Christians) its okay to find it humerous, guilt- free being that its like a spoof for all who REALLY know the story bc its pretty consistant bsides the comic license, but to those who DONT know the Lord nor the true script may get the wrong idea. Its like we know the fundamentals, now heres just a bit of after- class "fun" with the lesson.

Let the kids play awhile, they've been working really hard this past session-

..& yes, you can go play too! lol
