Mikuni is not imitating the origin song, you can't use the same standard to the two singers.

And if u go to Mikuni's live, u'll find that she has much more power than the CD version.

Because It has been tuned for some marketing reason.

Miho Morikawa has more power to hers, but this version is delicate, so it's ok.

I don't think it's her so much as the musical arrangement that makes this version a slight bit less powerful than the original. It seems rushed, but it's still a great song. Wow what a melody.
