This is a diffent sort of song for me to sing, I think Matt Monroe sings it much better than me, but then again he never played guitar, but seriously it is one of the most beautiful songs on this planet, and I am sure Don McClean and I don't know what was going through Don McClean head when he wrote it, but he certainly hit the mark with the lines 'the book of life is brief, once a page is read, all but love is dead and that is my belief'... it's mine too.
