This is a perfect song. As a musical snob, in my opinion, there are only several that have ever been created. Nearly every person on the planet can identify. She is brilliant and her voice is so stellar it makes no sense. So underrated.

ps Saw Sharon Jones & Dap Kings a couple of nights ago. She was on fire. Not sure where she gets the energy from. It's gotta be the best soul/funk experience you can have and the crowd was going off. The closest reference I could think of was James Brown.

Winehouse and Jones have both got great voices. Sharon Jones is more of a belter while Winehouse has a greater range and variety in her voice. Winehouse also can write her own great pop songs. But if you want someone who can deliver 100% of the time then Sharon Jones is it. Winehouse is very flaky and unreliable, particularly when zonked.
