  • @yfenniseo In most browsers, something like holding Shift or Control while clicking on the result will open the link in a new window or tab. I don't think it'd be worth adding more icons to the search result page just to duplicate this behavior.

  • ok you're right :-)) but do you know how many average people/searchers klick on advanced search?? many don't even know that it exists. a radio button under the searchfield would be helpfull in my opinion.

  • Your GM script is here: search for Google Easy Url on userscripts

  • Doen't this raise the option for an other feature... linksharing? (A little like Stumble, Digg, Delicous)

  • The feature that i would like added. I would add more file types to the advanced search. like .mp3.

  • how about using Advanced search and sort by "Date: (how recent the page is)"?

  • Well, i would like to be able to order searchresults by release date. whether date in the forum or date when google has crawled the content and added to its database.

many many times i search something on a subject and top results tend to be comments in forums made in the year 2001 or so, which i am not at all interested in most of the times and which is completely out of date and with absolutely no relevance on what i am looking for, mostly!!

  • Use tinyurl

  • Sometimes seeing the parameters comes in handy. A little "get link" link on results pages with a simplified version of the link copied to your clipboard would be a good solution. Sorta like YouTube but cleaner.

  • My belief is you are capable of speaking other languages. Great Clip.

  • Images...I would just LOVE to be able to upload an ACTUAL IMAGE and say 'go find it'...see where it came from originally, what it's called, who is using it on their site etc.
