@12:38 Glad to hear it, too. I hope her country wasn't taken over by the Taliban since this was filmed.

Incidentally, Gila's dress (and head covering) is virtually similar to one she wore as a guest on Johnny Carson's New Year's Eve "TONIGHT SHOW" three months before- but it was pink [the computer-colorist obviously shaded in the wrong color].

"Djinn-Djinn" hadn't been introduced as yet, 'kosmogurlkt' (and wouldn't be until the fall of 1968). Apparently, Jeannie was so angry at "Master", she briefly turned him into the image of her beloved dog {which could be interpreted that, even though she's pissed off at Tony, she still loves him enough to make him the image of her childhood playmate).

Gila Golan, a former "Miss Israel" in the "Miss World" competition, was one of creator/producer Sidney Sheldon's choices to play "Jeannie" before he "discovered" Barbara Eden. Apparently, he made it up to Gila by casting her as "Princess Tarji" (loosely based on a character he created for his 1953 MGM film "Dream Wife", played by Betta St. John) in this episode. Jeannie's habit of turning "Master" into various animals, when angry, would be seen again in "The Girl Who Never Had A Birthday".
