Wall Street is up to its old tricks again! This time, instead of gambling with your mortgage, they're gambling with your life! How? By using what we like to call, DEATH BONDS!

When sick or elderly Americans need cash, they can sell their life insurance policies to companies that will pay them a fraction of the value. Now Wall St. banks like Goldman Sachs are buying up those insurance policies, bundling them into investment funds, and selling them to investors. The sooner people die, the faster profits rise.

It's the same thing Wall St. did with mortgages. In that case, they destroyed our economy and hardworking Americans lost their jobs and their homes. Now, they'll lose their lives. Despite the dark consequences, Goldman Sachs and Wall St. want suffering to spread so their profits will surge.

It's no wonder that Wall St. banks like Goldman Sachs are in bed with the big insurance companies to kill health care reform. If private insurance companies continue to have a monopoly on our health care, not only will their profits go up but, as the quality of our health care goes down, the death bond market will skyrocket! Bad health care is good for their business.

  • nyse doesnt even trade death bonds idiot stupid woman what about someones bucket list they've paid into the plan their whole fucking lives why cant they have that money back

  • Sponsored by insurance companies. Death bonds ? you can sell your life insurance to the insurance company or sell it to an investor for more money.

Insurance companies ALREADY make lots of money from people dying ...so why can't the banks ? you are hypocrites and cowards.

If you cannot afford to pay your insurance policy you can sell it to investors for more then the surrender vale END OF STORY.

  • GARBAGE. Never heard so much rubbish. 'Death bonds' more commonly referred to as longevity. There's nothing immoral about this. So inflammatory. Wall street isn't outraged because your argument is garbage. If you're going to present an issue, then at least present the facts of the trading activity. Don't just say have you heard about DEATH BONDS - People die and a bank makes money. What utter utter ridiculous, stupidity

  • Alright, I hope my comments gets thumbs and I start a debate. I'm entering the financial advising industry and have read about this. Life insurance policies get sold off by people who need money. We should not take away the right of the policyholder to sell what is theirs and of value, nor should we take away an opportunity for another person to realize a profit. It's important not to prohibit free trade.

  • @2010MsBambi lol were all gonna die by a meteor in 2012, lol I will be there that day making a video

  • I have heard of this. I am not surprised anymore! They are soulless and their is a special place reserved for them when the Gulf of Mexico oil volcano explodes and h*ll is unleashed on Earth!

  • @J13Hyatt and so it shall be?? with all due respect that is some naive bullshit even karma stops working - i mean it's so unethical/immoral, and i'm pretty darn sure jesus got torqued & turned the tables on some banksters too

  • As it has been... The rich get richer - and so shall it be. These people don't understand the meaning of compassion. I don't personally care to look too much in to either side of this story, just another distraction from the real issue... We can treat the symptoms forever but until we get to the root of the problem, only more problems will arise. No true happiness can come from benefiting off of others' suffering.

I'm not Christian but I will say, Forgive them for they know not what they do.
