Problem is--if you saw the first one--you can;t help making comparisons--
HEY--dofferent city--different times--but the remake fit in well

Read between the lines. Whole movie racist.

in fairness there is a lot of racism in the film, however, a friend of mine who grew up in new york in the seventies has assured me that this racism is a pretty accurate reflection of the time and place. i don't think the film is necessarily racist, some of the charachters are though. but then maybe i'm not reading between the right lines here can you elaborate on your comment,
