Do you know if it would be possible to use this on one's lap (i.e., while commuting on the train)? Thanks.

@southelgindad yep. I the keyboard in my lap when reclining in chairs all the time. HOWEVER, make sure you have a solid surface to rest your iPad on, especially if you want to prop it up! You can also just lay it flat next to you if you need to. But yes, I don't have any issues with it. For example, doing a lot of typing on a flight would be similar. I might put the keyboard in my lap under the tray table and put the stand and iPad on the table itself. Hope this helps!

@LightAdrenaline Also, keep in mind that this is obviously not a FULL sized keyboard - i.e. it has no number pad to the right. It's like a standard laptop layout. So as long as you don't need the extra few inches to balance in your lap your good. Again, if you can use an Apple keyboard or laptop in your lap, this should be just fine.
