i HAVE figured out a way to recalibrate your "hand held" compass.. the kind you buy for hiking navigation, or any compass for that matter.

To recalibrate your compass to the "new TRUE north" find an object like a street or other such verifiable aligned object.. that you know WAS due north.. like a north bound highway...

stand along the road and point to what USED to be north...

the compass will align left or right of what USED TO be "due north"...

then scrape the "N" off the compass you bought.. and mark a notch where the N on the spinning part of the compass settles.

THAT IS YOUR NEW NORTH.




easy!


but this does indeed prove again.. things are "on the move"... should be obvious now to even the casual observer.
