A meditative, classical, slow motion vision of flamenco dancing by Bapi Chakraborty (bapic.com), based on improvisations by Fiona Malena (fionamalena.com) one hot and sunny Spanish afternoon...a little break from modern life, like a fountain in the heat. By an interesting coincidence, the band Muse put out an album with a bit of this same tune, the day before I had this ready for Youtube...Chopin is in the air...(oh, and great minds think alike). Fiona does a fantastic job of peforming and teaching in Spain and Canada, and is just as mesmerizing without the slo mo.

and the timeline of the piano compostion? the flamenco dancing improvisation is new by the woman dancer, but what about the composer?

So beautiful! I love the water in the background and the way the shawl slowly floats around and then falls at just the right parts. Ethereal. Bapi you did a great job interpreting the movements and the music. Nice work to all.

its a good idea... but cuda been better, i think the camera jumped around too much. but nice idea.

who's recording of the nocturne is this? interesting version with some very strong dynamics at parts.

don't know, but it is one of the more powerful versions, better for this flamenco concept
