It's very strange to make assumptions about the early relationship of dog and man when there is no evidence that it was quite so Disney in nature.

What does this have to do with your apparent argument for misanthropy, except in giving an example that humans are the only creatures to create bond of companionship with other species.

@Bottery Yes we should therefore we should stop taking animals out of their habitat, then find out we can't control them and slaughter them all (which if we look into the myxo case we then ended up with something even worse on our hands)! Humans are not the only species to care for other animals. A prime example of that are canines who started to work with us thousands of years ago. They kept us aware of danger and we rewarded with our scraps and warmth. Many animals care for one another!

Except they don't ignore factories, cars, or any of those things, and they don't blame the animals, but the meat industry. The gas composition is different coming from animals and rot than coming from burning fuel. That is why they are making the distinction. Also people hunt wild boars and eat them.

Except it is in any animal's best interest to ensure the survival of it's kin. Human beings are the only ones who've spread that definition to include millions of it's own kind. A phenomenon quite impressive for a large mammal. Trying to control nature, or save species is futile and silly as nature itself does not have any sympathy and life in its entirety does not suffer at all. What we should do is try to focus on living in both an efficient and healthy way.

@Bottery I hate being human! we destroy everything, we think we own this world yet we are mere organsims like everything else. What gives us the right to kill every animal so we can have a new road or more houses to house our over populated species. The fact we kill ill animals because they wouldn't survive in the world yet we think it's fine to carry out every measure to keep humans alive when they would have died is fine. We're selfish, the world will end and we are to blame not animals ffs!

@Bottery yes but nearly every judgement we make is wrong. For christ sake we are the main thing destroying this planet yet we do fuck all about it, exept blame other animals. 'Oh cows are are main producer of gases causing global warming' completely ignoring amount of pollution from factories, cars, electric etc that we make everyday! We made a bad call by bringing in boar so because WE made a mistake they should be culled because of it? yeh that makes sense!

Also it is incredibly stupid to not hold humans in a higher value than any other animal, being human yourself. If a horse decided that it was against the idea of horses, how long do you think it would survive in the wild? It would a detriment to its species.

Except we aren't only in that we have this weird romanticized preconception of what nature is supposed to be so we make judgements on whether things are good or bad for nature. Imo humans aren't doing anything except what they think is right, same as any other animal. Saying that people need to be culled just for that is wrong. Killing for sport is not unique to humans anyway.
