In this StreamFIT Minute, busy mom fat loss expert Holly Rigsby shows you how to perform the squat row for a metabolic nightmare.

This move combines the squatting action of your lower body with the rowing action of your upper body for a fast and furious whole body weight loss situation.

Furthermore, you can make this move even harder by adding a jump at the top of the movement.

  • SO FUNCTIONAL

  • There are some gems in the streamfit catalog, but this is not one of them. She even looks uncomfortable jumping and rowing at once. The nightmare is the combination of these activities!

  • Great movement. Great way to get heart rate up. For those who think this is a bad combination of movements tell me how. It integrates a squat, jump, and a pull. Hits key areas hard and effectively. Also great for increasing explosiveness. Keep it up streamfit!!!!

  • I'm amazed by how negative folks are when commenting on other people's work. If you don't approve or like what you see, must people be so disrespectful in the process? As a veteran in this field, I've done & seen versions of this move, yet I like the fact that Holly's using bands (I've had clients hold the low squat position while rowing), & adding a mix of plyometric work, followed by deep isometric contraction during the 5 second hold. This comprehensive movement is also a real time-saver!

  • Terrible Terrible combination of movements

  • Excellent!
