mine was not made this way but i noticed below the blade, i had a vent that did not remove. i did find some hair (???), a toothpick, and an onion piece and removed it manually. worked like a charm and now i feel great about fixing my own problem! thank you soo much!

@dandilionloverr I have the same problem. My parents' dishwasher doesn't have a basket on the bottom at all... just the bottom with lots of little square holes with water over them since it won't fully go down :/

Thank you for the video help. I will try this. So tired of coming home from being out with standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher. A few times it had leaked all down the floor, ruined my wood-look floor, and ran down to the top of my clothes washer in the basement. It's pretty scary that it might damage the floor so much and fall through.. Ha! Wouldn't that be a scary sight:?
