Experts claim online shopping is more popular than ever

The Office for National Statistics has highlighted the popularity of online shopping by revealing a 2.1 increase in web based retail sales compared with September last year.

A spokesman from Kurt Salmon Associates, an industry focussed management consultancy firm, says online shopping is extremely important to the public and that more internet friendly options heading to the market can only enhance the popularity of shopping this way.

Matthew Cushen, a senior manager of the group went on to say that online stores like Ocado, which sells groceries, has such a fantastic range and offers such a good service that it really enhances the lifestyle of it's customers.

However, ongoing Post Office strikes mean some companies are extremely worries about being able to deliver the service they promise.
