Cabin Creek Timber Frames raises a custom timber frame near new Orleans, Louisiana.

Cabin Creeks timber framers traveled to Abita Springs, LA. to raise a custom timber frame December 2009. This is the shorter of the videos posted about this raising. Abita Springs experienced unusual amounts of rain for the area--so much rain--a crane was unable to make in into the site until the second week. The timber frame 'package' and later the SIPS had to be ferried into the job site with an all terrain forklift.
