Umphrey's McGee - S2 Event - 10/3/2009

The inaugural S2 event held in Milwaukee, WI. A special thanks to the fans who attended the inaugural S2 event last weekend. We couldnt have been happier with how the event unfolded. Ideas were submitted by texting descriptive words, phrases, and pop culture references (pretty much whatever came to mind), to the Umphrey's Mozes mobile interface. The suggestions were then filtered by our sound caresser Kevin Browning, and projected on a screen for the band to digest and turn into the next phase of the jam. We varied stylistically with suggestions ranging from afternoon bus ride in Jamaica to drinking pina coladasin a hurricane.

Umphrey's McGee The next S2 will unfold at the Tabernacle in Atlanta on Saturday February 6th. Doors will open at 3:30 pm, with the S2 to start at 4:00. Tickets go on sale this Friday January 29th at Noon ET via Umphrey's Ticketing.
