Are you serious ? Do you take the position that the book of Genesis is the literal truth , and has no room for metaphor or mythology?

There is no point engaging with you if you do , as we are so far apart in what we accept as evidence.

Why would you do away with a literal account of Genesis? Jesus didn't and he confirmed that they were two authentic historical persons as wells an Noah and so on fo forth. You you also write away his second coming as well then too? You may be assisted if you took some course on the art and science of biblical interpretation.

YOu assume that the way things currently are such as age limits for instance is how things have always been, though you were not there, so how can you conclusively rule out that possibility. Plus you have to admit there are flood stories from every major culture around the world, written on various impliments to tell the story. Funny how the truth comes out in bits and pieces for people to review or ignore. There are two groups of scientist who look at the same evidence, but have 2 outcomes...

I do not have to personally witness every event to draw conclusions from the available evidence. If there was a global flood , the geology of the Earth would be different.

It seems that , in order to be a Christian , you are required to deny the evidence , or suggest that science is invalid .

What if you find out you are wrong, deceived even, and you had an ability to be healed and reconciled to God and you lost that chance to have a real future bc you nursed a nasty bias? Have you ever studied what the other side has said, discovered, or believes?

Bc he offers a way of escape that he commands all men everywhere to repent and beleive. If they still refuse to, seeing and internally knowing they fall short, since the commandments are written on their hearts, there is a price to pay for ignoring the cure offered to any and all.
