Wait, I never really understood this. But was Riku really Ansem the whole time in Kingdom Hearts 1, or does he just look like him when he releases his dark powers.

yeah... I'm confused at that too.

I always thought of it as a dark powers released thingy too...

Nomura's story telling style is really weird... he basically bends the rules of real-world logic in his games and makes up like new science and religions....

I personally don't like it. but oh well
