Excellent! Heaven help Australia if it continues down this track. It sets an extremely dangerous precedent. But would any of you defend your dying liberty? Is Liberty a concept even understood by Australians? Americans understand it. Europeans understand it (post Hitler of course). What is wrong with Australians? Are they braindead? there's no difference b/n the previous and current one - it's even worse.

Besides the govt (there's no difference b/n the previous and current one - it's even worse) stole citizens guns in 96 so Australians ar screwed.

@fargonebewdy Australia has not long to go before it ceases to be a 'Western Democracy'. It will be integrated into Asia and be like Singapore in 30 years maximum. If you're still living in Australia then I bet I'm right. Australians DONT UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF LIBERTY. All other Western Democracies do, but not Australia. You handed in your guns with little complaint, you dont push for a Bill of Rights, something all other Western Democracies have. Govts do what the people allow them to do.

Conroy has a strange attitude as to what is lawful and what is not.. He and his wife have a daughter born with the assistance of an egg donor and a surrogate mother, both friends of the Conroys. The procedures were performed in New South Wales instead of their home state Victoria, where altruistic surrogacy is banned. The law can be adjusted according to personal needs.
