I started looking after rocket & gypsy in 2006, they were just 2 horses left in a field with no love/care and were complety mad.
Our build wasnt very strong from the start, I was a compete newbie with horses, I couldnt even tell which brushes were whichnot allowen tack up. I would spend ours with them each day, brushing them and building our bond up. Time went by, and we became close. We trusted each other and I could do anything with them. I started to ride gypsy after about 6months, we didnt get on very well from the start, she hadnt been ridden in years and bucked me off but I didnt stop riding.
I kept riding her every weekend, each time trusting her more and more in the saddle and doing more things together.
I became a better rider and she became a more understanding pony who would listen to me, I started jumping her cross polesI had never jumped before and had never learnt how. As months pasted the poll went higher and higher, my position got better and we managed to clear 3.3ft with ease, I grew bigger and wanted to ride something more of a challenge.
With my new found confidence I started to ride rocket, he was a much feisty pony and had injured a lot of people in the past. He was broken at 3 and ridden away until he was 4, then was left untill he was 7 because his owner became ill. The first rides he would buck, not listen, and generally not behave atall but I kept riding him. He started to listen and understand me, I then found a rider for gypsy and we done cross country together, races and some jumping.
After 3years, our bond was amazingthey would gallop when they saw me and loved attention.
I wanted to do so much more, we had planned hacking out, hunting, schooling.. And possibly showing. I thought I would have them forever; we were just the perfect team.

But our story is cut short, Due to things happening with there owner I can no longer have rocket & gypsy.
I will never ever ride them again, care for them or do any of the things I had wished for.
All the years of hard work gone to waste. The 2 ponies I loved with my whole heart are no longer there, its just like a piece missing from my heart.
I just hope they have someone new who will learn as much as I did, because I went in as a compete beginner and came out as a confident experienced rider thanks to these two ponies.
The video wasnt ment to be full of effects and isnt my best.It hasnt been put up for the popularity or the views, just maybe to make you understand and feel everything thats been going on.

exactly the same happened to me, the owner hated me and me |: so me and my friends decided to end it - possibly one of the hardest decission :(
